Please read these terms carefully before booking a shipment with Megha Transport.
Megha Transport ("we", "us") provides road freight transportation, warehousing, and packing & moving services within India. These terms apply to every booking made by phone, WhatsApp, email or our website.
Quotes are estimates based on the cargo details provided at the time of booking. Final charges may vary if actual weight, volume or dimensions differ from what was declared, or if additional handling is required.
Shippers are responsible for providing accurate invoice and cargo details required for e-way bill generation and any other statutory documentation. Megha Transport is not liable for delays or penalties caused by incorrect information supplied by the shipper.
Transit insurance is included by default on standard bookings, subject to the declared cargo value. Claims for loss or damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery, accompanied by the proof of delivery document and photographic evidence where applicable.
Transit times quoted are estimates based on typical route conditions. Megha Transport is not liable for delays caused by weather, road closures, regulatory checks, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control, though we will proactively communicate any known delay.
Payment terms are agreed at the time of booking. Outstanding invoices beyond the agreed credit period may attract a late payment charge and can affect future booking priority.
Bookings cancelled before vehicle dispatch are not charged. Cancellations after a vehicle has been allocated or dispatched may incur a cancellation fee to cover allocation costs.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with disputes subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of booking applies to that shipment.
